This Tuesday (15) at New Metropolis the event Creativity Without Borders will bring together a multicultural group of creators on an event that will contemplate music, storytelling and painting. Noura Bint Saidan, Adnan Atik, Ayoub Kharkhach, Dasha van Amsterdam, Mariëm Firdaus Amgharou (Lady General) will come together to share their stories and creative practices in order to inspire the audience to finding their own creative tools.

Noura Bint Saidan is joining the event as part of her one-week programing in Amsterdam, arrange by SAMA in partnership with the Saudi Arabian Ministry. She will share at New Metropolis her inspirations and challenges of being one of the first Saudi Arabian woman graffiti artist. Noura’s street art practice revolves around reflecting on Saudi Arabian culture and her art pieces can be found on the streets of Riyadh, London and Spain. She has also worked on a social campaign to educate the public on the importance of art.
“I don’t want to limit myself in the canvas frame. […] I’m always up to explore new things. Mostly, I like live painting as it gives me a chance to reach a large audience and capturing their reactions.”
At Creativity Without Borders Noura will be giving a workshop, painting live together with the participants, and after we will have a talk with her about creative practice and how it relates with cultural background and life experiences. She will be the first Saudi Arabian artist at SAMA’s collection and we feel extremely excited to exchange knowledge and develop new perspectives.xperiences and create new perspectives.
